MONDAY, JULY 8

Man Exposes Self, Rubs Woman's Chest

A man who looked about 16 to 18 rubbed his hand across a woman's chest as he passed her in the 1000 block of Chicago Avenue around 10:20 p.m. The woman also told police the man's penis was exposed and erect, police said. The man, who was about 5-feet-6 with a thin build and blond hair, wore tan cargo shorts and was carrying a black backpack. He was last seen walking west on Chicago Avenue, police said.

Warrant Arrest

Dyeasha Straughter, 34, of Chicago was arrested on a warrant out of Cook County around noon in the 600 block of South Boulevard. She was held on bond. 

Felony Arrest in iPhone Theft

Police charged Diona Murray, 38, of Snellville, WI, with felony theft after she implicated herself in the June 27 theft of about $12,000 iPhones at Radio Shack. She was arrested around 9:40 a.m. in Chicago, given a July 12 court date and held on bond, police said.

Victoria's Secret Package Stolen

Someone stole a Victoria's Secret package from a hallway of a building the 100 block of North Kenilworth Avenue between 2 and 3:30 p.m. The total estimated loss is $70, police said. 

Windshield Shattered

Someone used a piece of concrete to shatter the windshield of a Ford Taurus in the 500 block of North Elmwood Avenue between noon and 4 p.m. The estimated cost of damage is $300, police said. 

Bike Stolen

Someone stole a men's mountain bike from a rack in the 8300 block of Lake Street between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The total estimated loss is $150, police said. 

SUNDAY, JULY 7

Bike Stolen

Someone stole an unattended bike from a yard in the 900 block of North Marion Street between noon July 5 and 10 a.m. July 7. The total estimated loss is $20, police said. 

SATURDAY, JULY 6

Laptop Stolen

Someone stole a laptop from an unlocked office in the 800 block of Harrison Street between 3 and 7 p.m. The total estimated loss is $700, police said.
