Man Violates Order of Protection

Brandon M. Rice, 30, of the 100 block of south Harvey, was arrested and charged with violating an order of protection in the 100 block of Madison at 10 p.m. Rice was processed and held for bond hearings.

Battery Arrest

Lavell C. Robinson, 19, of the 1000 block of south Lombard was charged with aggravated battery in the 700 block of Lake Street at 3:32 p.m. Robinson was processed and held for bond hearings.

Burglary Arrest

A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with residential burglary in the 200 block of south Maple at 10:47 p.m. and held for bond hearings.

Burglary Reported

A resident of the 1000 block of south Cuyler reported to police that someone entered their home by breaking a rear porch window and unlocking the door between 8:15 a.m. and 6:25 p.m. The home was ransacked and jewelry, money and a computer were reported stolen for an estimated loss of $1,070.

Oak Park Juvenile Held to Ground and Robbed

An Oak Park juvenile told police he they were struck and held down by two men in the 100 block of Lake Street at about 3:37 p.m. One of the men then stole the victim's cell phone and iPod before both fled in an unknown direction. The estimated loss was $225.

TUESDAY, DEC. 4

2 Charged With Possession of Stolen Vehicle

Marshall L. Miller, 17, of the 1400 block of north Mayfield in Chicago and Cyril C. Walker, 19, of the 100 block of north Menard in Chicago, were arrested and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle from Chicago in the 200 block of Madison at 11:32 a.m. Walker was also charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle. Both were held for bond hearings.

Battery Reported

Someone hit an Oak Park resident in the back of his legs in the 5100 block of south Kenilworth at 9:05 p.m. When the victim fell to the ground, he was repeatedly hit causing injuries to his hands and face.

Forest Park Resident Pick Pocketed

A Forest Park resident told police that while walking in the 6200 block of North Avenue, they were brushed up against by a man wearing a red skull cap and black and red bomber jacket at about 3:15 p.m. Afterward, the victim noticed that their cell phone was missing and attempted to approach the man who then fled in an unknown direction. The estimated loss was $369.

Sewer Covers Removed

Police learned at 3:09 p.m. that sewer covers had been removed from the street in the 1000 block of Maple. The value of the loss was unknown at this time.

Package Stolen

A resident of the 900 block of Clarence reported to police that a UPS package was stolen from their front porch between 1:55 and 2:30 p.m. The loss was estimated at $20.

Envelope Containing Large Amount of Cash Stolen

Police learned that an unattended envelope containing $2,400 was stolen in the 1000 block of Lake Street between 12 and 1 p.m. from the cash register area of the location.

Man Charged With Driving On Revoked License

Rogelio Linhares, 55, of the 1700 block of Orchard Street in Des Plaines, was stopped after he disobeyed a traffic control device in the 700 block of Madison at 10:14 a.m. A name check revealed that Linhares had a revoked license and he was charged with aggravated driving with a suspended license and held for bond hearings.

Man Charged with Heroin Possession

Christopher Lima, 23, of the 3400 block of Sunnyside Avenue in Brookfield, was stopped after and officer witnessed Lima make a drug transaction at Adams and Austin Boulevard at 11:35 a.m. Lima was found with a clear plastic bag containing 14 individual packets of a white powdery substance that field tested positive for heroin. Lima was charged with possession of a controlled substance and held for bond hearings.

Man Arrested After Threatening Victim With Toilet Tank Lid

A juvenile from Chicago was arrested and charged with aggravated assault after he threatened a Bloomingdale resident in the 6500 block of North Avenue with a toilet tank lid. The man was later released to his guardian.

Residential Burglary

An Oak Park resident of the 900 block of Columbian told police that their home was entered by an unknown person through a closed, but unlocked rear door between 5:50-6:10 a.m. Stolen was a Apple Laptop and a wallet containing cash and credit cards. The loss was estimated at $2,240.

MONDAY, DEC. 3

TV, Laptop Stolen From Truck

A resident told police that between 4 p.m. Dec. 2 and 10:30 a.m. Dec. 4, someone entered his truck parked in the 900 block of south East and stole a 50-inch Panasonic television and a Toshiba Laptop. The loss was estimated at $900.

Snow Blower Stolen

A resident of the 1000 block of south Harvey told police that someone entered their garage by removing three pieces of synthetic wood siding and then stole a snow blower between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. The loss was estimated at $200.

Battery Arrest

Johnicia L. Collins, 20, of the 400 block of south Grace Street in Lombard, was charged with battery of a Maywood resident in the 100 block of Madison Street at 5:55 p.m. Collins was issued a December court date and released on bond.

Theft Arrest

Sean D. Quinn, 24, of the 700 block of Tanager Lane in West Chicago, was arrested and charged with theft in the 800 block of North Boulevard at 1:52 p.m. Quinn was issued a January court date and released on bond.

Bag Grabbed

A Chicago resident told police that while in the 300 block of Madison, a man wearing a jogging suit removed a bag containing $97 from their hands and was last seen heading eastbound down a Madison Street Alley on foot.

Disorderly Conduct Arrest

Jonathan G. Nicholas, 28, of the 1500 block of north Kolin in Chicago, was charged with disorderly conduct and trespass to a building in the 200 block of north Grove at 8:47 a.m. Nicholas was issued a court date in January and held pending bond.
