Marijuana Possession

Police charged Dometric Buckley, 24, of Maywood, with marijuana possession in the 100 block of Augusta Avenue around 3:30 p.m. He was given a Feb. 3 court date and released on bond. 

Purse Stolen on Chicago Avenue

Someone stole a purse containing a wallet, keys and cash in the 400 block of Chicago Avenue sometime between 4 and 5 p.m. The total estimated loss is $117, police said. 

iPhone Stolen at OPRFHS

Someone stole an iPhone from a backpack at Oak Park and River Forest High School between 1:15 and 1:40 p.m. The total estimated loss is $150, police said. 

Friday, January 3

Drill, Electronics Stolen in Burglary

Someone stole a drill, drill batteries, a laptop, an iPod and 2 USB cords from a home in the 1100 block of Wenonah Avenue between 1 p.m. Dec. 29 and 5 p.m. Jan. 3. The total estimated loss is $584, police said.
