Naked Man Chases Woman on Dare: Oak Park Police Blotter
Also, a 7-Eleven was robbed at gunpoint. Oak Park police reports, Dec. 7-9.
SUNDAY, DEC. 9
Cars Spray Painted
Police reported that between Dec. 8-9, someone spray painted red or brown spray paint on three separate cars—in the 700, 900 and 1000 blocks of Washington—at some point overnight. Estimated damages ranged from $300-500.
Burglar Runs After Alarm Sounds
An Oak Park resident reported that someone tried to break into their home in the 1100 block of north Elmwood overnight between Dec. 8-9. A glass pane in a basement window was found shattered. However, once inside, the offender set off an alarm and ran out the back door of the home. Estimated damages were $60.

Man Arrested for Retail Theft
Otis Smith, 50, of the 4500 block of Washington in Chicago, was charged with retail theft at CVS Pharmacy in the 300 block of Madison at 11:33 a.m. Smith was held for bond hearings.
'89 Monte Carlo Stolen
An Oak Park resident told police that their burgundy-colored 1989 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was stolen in the 1100 block of south Oak Park Avenue between 2 a.m. and 7:37 a.m. The estimated loss was $11,000.

SATURDAY, DEC. 8
Man Found, Wanted for Battery to Police Officer
Antonio F. Woolfork, 42, of the 100 block of north 13th in Melrose Park, was stopped and arrested at 4:27 a.m. in the 400 block of west Lake Street. Woolfork was later charged with driving with a revoked license, criminal trespass, criminal damage and obstructing identification. A name check later found he was also wanted on a Cook County warrant for aggravated battery to a police officer. Woolfork was held for bond hearings.
Naked Man Chases Woman on Dare
An Oak Park resident told police that at 11:15 p.m. a man described as white, between 20-23 years old, of average height and build and wearing a black plaid shirt and black jeans rode by her on a older-style Schwinn bike headed northbound on Belleforte at Chicago Avenue. The man then stopped ahead of the victim and hid behind a tree. When the victim got closer, she noticed the man was no longer wearing clothes. He then ran toward her and stopped about 10 feet away. The victim ran home while the man said, "I'm sorry. This was a dare." The man was last seen at the intersection of Belleforte and Augusta.
Endangering Life of a Child
Bridgette L. Palton, 36, of the 500 block of Washington, was charged with endangering the life and health of a child in the 100 block of Madison at 7:41 p.m. Palton was issued a January court date and held in lieu of posting bond.
Outside Warrant Arrest
Myia S. Butts, 25, of the 4300 block of west Cortez in Chicago, was stopped after disobeying a traffic control device in the 300 block of south Euclid at 3:55 p.m. A name check later revealed Butts was wanted on two open warrants out of Appleton, WI. Butts was held for extradition.
Outside Warrant Arrest
Paulina Nolton, 18, of the 1200 block of south Karlov in Chicago, was arrested on an active Cook County warrant for possession of a stole motor vehicle in the 0-100 block of Madison after causing a disturbance, police reported. She was held for bond hearings.
Suspended License
Reginald M. Hamilton, 25, of the 4100 block of west West End in Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after disobeying a stop sign in the 900 block of Kenilworth at 8:20 a.m. Hamilton was also issued citation for expired registration and no valid insurance. He later posted bond and was released.
Armed Robbery Reported at 7-Eleven
A man described as black, about 30 years old, of average height and build and wearing a black hoodie and black mask was reported to have approached a clerk at 7-Eleven in the 500 block of west Madison and robbed the store. The clerk told police that the man approached the counter to pay for an item, and when the clerk opened the register the man pointed a gun at him and stated, "Give me the money." The clerk handed over $80 in cash and the man fled on foot headed north on Scoville.

FRIDAY, DEC. 7
Robbery Arrest
Daqwan J. Wandick, 18, of the 1000 block of north Menard in Chicago, was arrested and charged with the robbery of an Oak Pak juvenile that occurred on Dec. 5. Wandick was issued a court date and held for bond hearings.
Catalytic Converter Stolen
An Oak Park resident informed police that someone stole the catalytic converter from their 2008 Honda Element while it was parked in the 700 block of north Austin Boulevard between Dec. 4-7. The loss was estimated at $2,000.
