Drug deals, more bike thefts reported.

The following items are taken from Oak Park Police Department daily summary reports. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

BIKE THEFTS Two bicycles locked to a rack outside Oak Park-River Forest High School — one a red Diamondback Viper valued at $50, the other a black Trek mountain bike valued at $365 — were stolen Sept. 13.

AGGRAVATED ASSAULT An unidentified Oak Park juvenile was charged with aggravated assault Sept. 13 after an incident at Oak Park-River Forest High School, police said.

BURGLARY The face plate of a car stereo, $15 in ashtray change and a car battery were stolen during a burglary to an unlocked car parked in the 1200 block of North Harvey Avenue.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE An "unknown milk like substance" was poured into the gas tank of a car parked in the 800 block of Washington Boulevard about Sept. 14.

MARIJUANA POSSESSION An unidentified River Forest juvenile was charged with marijuana possession Sept. 15 in the 200 block of North Scoville Avenue.

BIKE THEFT An unlocked boy's bicycle valued at $200 was stolen Sept. 15 from the library of the Dole Branch of the Oak Park Public Library, 255 Augusta Blvd.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE The glass window of a building in the 100 block of North Kenilworth Avenue was broken about Sept. 14.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE The rear window of a 2004 Ford parked in the 700 block of South Elmwood Avenue was smashed out about Sept. 15.

VEHICLE THEFT A 1996 beige Buick Century was stolen Sept. 16 from a village parking lot at North Boulevard and Forest Avenue.

BIKE THEFT An unlocked red and black bicycle valued at $50 was stolen Sept. 25 from the back yard of a home in the 500 block of South Ridgeland Avenue.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY The inside of an apartment in the 1200 block of 1200 North Austin Boulevard was ransacked Sept. 16 but nothing was stolen.

THEFT A juvenile Chicago boy walking in the 800 block of Lake Street Sept. 16 had his cell phone, valued at $220, swiped from his hands.

DRUG DEALING Anthony Stevens, 29, 12 W. Washington Blvd., was charged with delivery of a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a church, delivery of a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a school, delivery of a controlled substance and drug possession Sept. 15 in the 4800 block of West Roosevelt Road, police said.
