Oak Park Teen Charged With Criminal Sexual Abuse in River Forest

The man was charged after police found he had been engaging in sexual acts with his 15-year-old girlfriend in River Forest.

Police charged Seth Gibson, 19, of the 300 block of North Maple Avenue in Oak Park with criminal sexual abuse during a traffic stop near the intersection of Greenfield and Harlem avenues around 2 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13.

Police said during a stop for several traffic violations, an investigation showed he had been engaging in sexual conduct with his 15-year-old girlfriend. He was charged with Misdemeanor Criminal Sexual Abuse after the juvenile’s mother wanted to sign criminal complaints, police said.
