Police: Boy Robbed, Chased by Teens

Chicago teens reportedly grabbed an Oak Park boy's bike, said "give me your stuff," and chased him half a block on Home Avenue Friday night.

Two Chicago teens were arrested Friday for stealing a bike from a 14-year-old boy in Oak Park, police said.

Police said the boy was riding his bike in the 600 block of Home Avenue about 7:30 p.m. when three teens approached him, grabbed his bike and said, "give me your stuff."

The boy ran as the three teens chased him for about half a block, police said.

Two of the teens, ages 14 and 16, were arrested after a witness reported the theft. The boy's bike was recovered along with two others that had been stolen from a porch in the 700 block of Clinton Avenue.

One of the teens was placed in the Cook County Juvenile Detention Center and one was released to his family, police said.
