Saturday, December 7

Trespassing Arrest

Police charged Utah Upchurch, 55, of Chicago, with trespassing in the 1100 block of South Boulevard around 2:10 a.m. 

Fake Credit Card Used to Buy Gas

A man in his 20s used a fake credit card to buy gas at Amaco, in the 7100 block of Roosevelt Road, around 1 p.m. The total estimated loss is $30, police said. 

Car Damage

Someone damaged the driver's door of a car parked in the 900 block of Pleasant Street between 10 p.m. Dec. 6 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 7. The total estimated loss is $500, police said. 

Toaster Stolen

Someone stole a toaster from a storage locker in the 1200 block of North Austin Boulevard between noon on Oct. 15 and 1:15 p.m. Dec. 7. The total estimated loss is $40, police said. 

Marijuana Possession

Police charged Arsenio Harden, 24, of Chicago, with marijuana possession in the 500 block of Madison Street around 8 p.m. He was released on bond. 

Friday, December 6

Golf Bag Stolen

Someone stole a golf bag from a porch in the 400 block of Greenfield Avenue between noon and 5:15 p.m. The total estimated loss is $150, police said. 

Christmas Lights Damaged

Someone damaged Christmas lights at a home in the 1400 block of North Harlem Avenue between 6 p.m. Dec. 3 and 6 p.m. Dec. 6. The total estimated loss is $100, police said. 

Car Vandalized

Someone broke the cover on the driver's side mirror of a car in the 700 block of Harrison Street between 11 p.m. Dec. 5 and 11:10 a.m. Dec. 6. The total estimated loss is $150, police said. 

Purse, $1,300 in Cash Stolen

A man in his 50s stole a purse containing $1,300 in cash, checks, an ID, credit cards and keys in the 100 block of North Oak Park Avenue between 1:10 and 1:20 p.m. The total estimated loss is $1,750, police said. 

Thursday, December 5

Break-in 

Someone used a pry tool to break into a home in the 100 block of North Humphrey Avenue and stole a portable shopping cart between 5:45 and 9:15 p.m. The total estimated loss is $40, police said.
