MONDAY, JULY 9

Criminal Trespass to Property/Disorderly Conduct

A pair of River Forest teens, one 16 and the other 17, were ticketed for criminal trespass to property and curfew violation after they were caught lurking inside Roosevelt School, just before midnight July 9, police said.

About $3 in change was stolen from a 2006 Jeep Liberty parked in the 1100 block of Harlem Avenue sometime between July 9 and July 10.

About $6 in coins were stolen from a 2007 Nissan Altima parked in the 7200 block of Oak Avenue sometime between July 9 and July 10.

TUESDAY, JULY 10

Retail Theft

Barbara L. Cooper, 59, of 5200 block of West Ferdinand in Chicago, was charged with felony retail theft July 10 after she was caught stealing kettle corn nail polish and fresh fruit from Whole Foods, 7245 Lake St., police said.

Criminal Trespass to Land

Ezekiel Henderson, 69, of the 3700 block of Congress Parkway in Chicago, was charged with criminal trespass July 10 after he was caught panhandling in the parking lot of the River Forest Town Center, police said.

Teens Found Not Guilty of Marijuana Possession

Thomas G. Lamm, 19, of the 1400 block of Park Avenue, Izsak M. Sheft, 18, of 600 block of Wesley Avenue in Oak Park, were ticketed under a local ordinance for marijuana possession July 10 after they were caught sharing a joint in the park near the Fenwick Athletic fields, 7255 Greenfield, police said. Lamm and Sheft were found not guilty and the charges were expunged from their records.

Residential Burglary

A Nintendo video game system, Vera Bradley floral print wristlet containing $3-5, and Italian train ticket stubs from a bedroom were stolen during a July 10 burglary to a residence in the 0-100 block of Franklin Street.

Burglary to Auto

A GPS navigation system, charger, holder, $2 in coins and a phone charger were stolen from a 2002 Toyota RAV 4 parked in the 800 block of Clinton Place sometime between July 9 and July 10.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 11

Retail Theft

Bobbie L. Johnson, 65, of the 5200 block of West Polk Street in Chicago, and Loletta Cook, 62, of the 2011 block of South 14th Street in Broadview, were charged with retail theft July 11 after she was caught stealing groceries valued at $217.61 from Whole Foods, 7245 Lake St., police said.

FRIDAY, JULY 13

Disorderly Conduct/Interfering with a Police Officer

Harry M. Biles, 29, of the 2000 block of West Jackson Blvd. in Chicago, was ticketed under a local ordinance for marijuana possession, and Mark G. Serdivk, 33, of the 3200 block of Maple Avenue in Berwyn, was cited disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer after trying to run away from a July 13 drug transaction in the River Forest Town Center, police said.

A 17-year-old River Forest teen was ticketed for disorderly conduct after he was caught urinating on a tree July 13 at Priory Park, 7200 on Division Street, police said.

SATURDAY, JULY 16

DUI Charge

Graciela K. Desoto, 19, of the 2600 block of North Erie in River Grove, was charged with drunken driving July 14 after running a red light, striking a curb and coming to a stop in the 1200 block of Harlem Avenue, police said. She was also charged with speeding, improper overtaking on the right, and disobeying a traffic control signal.

MONDAY, JULY 16

DUI Charge

Francisco M. Cuello, 25, of the 1300 block of North 15th Avenue in Melrose Park, was charged with drunken driving after a July 16 traffic stop in the 7900 block of North Avenue, police said. He was also charged with driving without a valid license, improper lane usage and driving in the wrong lane of traffic.
