River Forest Police Blotter: Guitar Stolen, DUI Charges

The following items are taken from police reports. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
BURGLARY An Apple laptop and brown vinyl carrying case valued at a combined $1,230 were stolen Tuesday Nov. 23 from a vehicle parked in the 7200 block of Lake Street.
DUI CHARGE Michael J. Sperduto, 22, of 753 Forest Ave., was charged with drunken driving and other traffic violations after a Wednesday Nov. 24 traffic stop in the 400 block of Thatcher Avenue, police said.

DUI CHARGE Candace A. Thomas, 23, of 7335 S. Kingston Ave. in Chicago, was charged with drunken driving after being pulled over in the 6600 block of North Avenue sometime between Wednesday, Nov. 24 and Thursday, Nov. 25, police said.
DUI CHARGE Lucio Viezca, 24, of 7827 W. North Ave., was charged with drunken driving and other traffic violations after a Saturday Nov. 27 traffic stop in the 7800 block of North Avenue, police said.
