River Forest Police Blotter: Toilet Paper Torched in Priory Park Shelter

River Forest police reports, May 20-29.

SUNDAY, JUNE 3

DUI Arrest
Reynaldo Alicea, 46, of Chicago, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop near Division Street and Harlem Avenue, police said. He also was charged with disobeying a traffic control device, disobeying a traffic control signal and improper lane usage, police said.

SATURDAY, JUNE 2

DUI/ Zero Tolerance
Armando W. Lee, 18, of Oak Park, was charged with drunken driving/zero tolerance and a number of traffic offenses after a traffic stop at Randolph Street and Harlem Avenue in Forest Park, police said. He was also was charged with disobeying a stop sign, disobeying a red light, illegally transporting alcohol and driving a car without a license, police said.

MAY 20-29

Criminal Damage
A number of toilet paper rolls were torched in the men’s restroom at the Priory Park Shelter, Division Street and Bonnie Brae Place, sometime between May 27 and May 29. Estimated damage was $6,000.   

Theft
A 26-inch bicycle locked to a rack locked and chained to a rack outside of the Gross Hall dormitory at Concordia University was stolen sometime between May 20 and May 29.
