2 Men Arrested for Theft Attempt
Two Chicago men were arrested for attempted theft after police saw them try to steal a Dodge van at Kirk Eye Center, 7427 W. Lake St. about 2:30 p.m.
Learies Brown, 20, and Deon Johnson, 22, told police they saw a black bag in the car and tried to steal it. They were both charged with misdemeanor attempt theft.

iPhone Stolen in McDonald's Bathroom
Someone stole an iPhone from a men's bathroom at McDonald's, 624 N. Harlem Ave., about 5:15 p.m. Investigators are reviewing security footage for possible leads, police said.

Man Obstructs Traffic, Urinates in Roadway
Jose Cortez-Angeles, 40, of Chicago, was arrested for DUI after police saw him urinating outside a vehicle that was obstructing traffic in the roadway in the 8000 block of North Avenue about 1 a.m.
Cortez-Angeles was pulled over in the 7700 block of North Ave. Police said his blood alcohol content was .151.
Because of his suspended license, and a warrant out of DuPage County for driving on a suspended license, Cortez-Angeles was charged with felony driving while license suspended and misdemeanor DUI.
Saturday, October 26
DUI
Police charged Sonia Esparza, 26, of Berwyn, with DUI during a traffic stop near the intersection of Harlem and Divison avenues about 1:40 a.m. She was charged with Misdemeanor DUI and other traffic offenses.
Friday, October 25
DUI, Reckless Driving
Tiffany Sisson, 32, of Melrose Park, was arrested for DUI and reckless driving after she drove 75 mph in a 30 mph zone in the 7900 block of North Avenue about 3:45 a.m. Police said Sisson's blood alcohol content was .160. She was charged with DUI, reckless driving, and other traffic offenses.
Man Arrested for Stealing Apples
Patrick Dunn, 22, of Wheaton, was arrested at Whole Foods Market, 7245 W. Lake St., after he stole $8 in gala apples about 5 p.m. He was charged with misdemeanor retail theft.
