Theft Reported in Library, Burglary on Harlem

Oak Park police reports, Sept. 3-5

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5

Warrant Arrest

Police charged Jesus Camacho, 50, of Cicero, with a warrant out of DuPage County for failure to appear on a domestic battery charge. He was arrested about 11:30 a.m. in the 5900 block of Roosevelt Road. 

Cell Phone Stolen From Library

Someone stole a cell phone from the second floor of the Oak Park Public Library about 6 p.m. The total estimated loss is $250, police said. 

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 4

Bike Stolen

Someone stole a $250 bike from a yard in the 700 block of North Lombard Avenue between 7 and 8 p.m. 

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3

Laptop Stolen

Someone stole a Macbook Pro laptop from an apartment in the 1300 block of North Harlem Avenue between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The total estimated loss is $1,800, police said. 

$85 in Makeup Stolen From Package

Someone stole Sephora makeup from a UPS package in a foyer in the 300 block of North Oak Park Avenue between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. The total estimated loss is $85, police said. 

Scooter Stolen

Someone stole an adult-sized Razor scooter from a patio in the 600 block of North Elmwood Avenue between 3:15 and 4 p.m. The total estimated loss is $130, police said. 

Bike Stolen

Someone stole a $200 bike from a yard in the 600 block of Clinton Avenue between 8 p.m. Sept. 2 and 3:45 p.m. Sept. 3.
