Two Men Sent Back To Prison After Parole Violations

Both observed with stolen property.

Police were watching Michael Fisher as he checked out bikes outside the CTA Green Line station for 10 minutes before he rode off on one.

When police stopped Fisher, 40, on the morning of June 27, he could not show that he owned the bike and police found the backpack he was carrying contained wire cutters, a screw driver, two hacksaw blades and vice grips, according to Oak Leaves.

Fisher has been convicted 13 times; most recently he was paroled after a conviction for residential burglary.

“We’re concentrating on areas where there have been a high number of thefts,” Detective Cmdr. Ladon Reynolds told Oak Leaves. “Everything goes back to the patrol division. They’re out there all the time. And they do a great job.”
