Domestic Battery

Daniel C. Harsh, 49, of Beverly Hills, FL was charged with domestic battery after an early-morning incident in the 1100 block of Clinton Avenue, police said.

Criminal Damage

A double paned basement window was broken on a home in the 1100 block of South Taylor Avenue. Estimated damage was $300. The incident took place sometime between Dec. 24 and Dec. 25.

Garbage Can Melted

Motion sensor lights were broken on garages in the 300 block of North East Avenue and North Scoville Avenue. One light set fire and melted a Waste Management garbage can. Both incidents took place sometime between Dec. 23 and Dec. 24. Total estimated damage was $220.

SUNDAY, DEC. 23

Wallet Stolen

A wallet was stolen from a purse left unattended in a business in the 100 block South Marion Street. Estimated loss was $10.

Bike Stolen

A bicycle and a lock were stolen from a rack in the 1100 block of South Boulevard. Estimated loss was $525. The incident took place sometime between Dec. 11 and Dec. 24.

FRIDAY, DEC. 21

Disorderly Conduct

Shaneka L. Herron, 25, of Chicago was charged with disorderly conduct after yelling and then threatening an emergency room employee at West Suburban Medical Center, 03 Erie Ct., police said.
