UPDATE: Blue Line Back on Schedule

Early morning disruptions are over, CTA says.

Update, 4:11 p.m. According to the CTA "System Status and Alerts" page, service on the Blue Line is back to normal after early-morning disruptions between the Forest Park and Harlem rail stations. 

The CTA is reporting the suspension of rail service between the Forest Park and Harlem stations. Service in that area will be supplemented by shuttle buses. Here's the details, via the CTA's official website:

Service on the Blue Line has been temporarily suspended between Harlem (Forest Park Branch) and Forest Park, due to mechanical problems.

As a result, trains are operating only between O'Hare and Harlem (Forest Park Branch) at this time.

Shuttle buses are available to provide connecting service through the affected area.
