Crossing Guard Contracts Extended
Oak Park, District 97 reach consensus on payments for pedestrian patrol.
Oak Park will bring in the manpower and will supply the money as part of an extension of a one-year agreement for school crossing guards.
At Monday's Oak Park Village Board meeting, officials said the village will continue to get the guards through Andy Frain Services and provide management and oversight.
District 97 will reimburse the village $189,600 - that's $47,400 quarterly – for the services for the 180-day 2011-2012 school year.
