E-Waste Recycling Set for Saturday in Oak Park
Drop-off event offers residents a way to say goodbye, safely, to that old pile of electronic junk.
Got e-waste? Here's how to get rid of it safely on Saturday. From the Village of Oak Park:
Oak Parkers are invited to recycle old electronic equipment from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., tomorrow, Sat. Aug. 25 at the (at Lombard Avenue). Acceptable items include computers, peripherals, laptops, monitors, TVs, cell phones, rechargeable batteries, printers, fax machines, MP3 players, portable digital assistants, video game consoles, videocassette recorders, digital videodisk players, zip drives, scanners and microwaves.
