Police to host unclaimed bike sale

More than 80 bicycles recovered by the Oak Park Police Department over the past year, but not claimed by their owners, will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis from 9 a.m. – noon, Sat., Sept. 29, at 260 Madison St.

Bicycles range in size, style and condition, are pre-priced and will be sold as-is with no pre-sale inspection. Payment may be made with cash or check. Prices will range from $30 to more than $100. Only one bike may be purchased per person at a time, with a limit of two bikes per household.
