Gaskill: Living in Oak Park, Remains on House Arrest

Attorney tells judge accused sex offender Robert Gaskill is not a flight risk.

A former newspaper publisher and foster care advocate accused of sexual molesting two children will remain on electronic monitoring, a Cook County judge has ruled.

An attorney for Robert Gaskill, 64, asked Judge Noreen Love at Wednesday's status hearing to discontinue the electronic monitoring, saying her client wasn't a flight risk, according to Wednesday Journal.

Gaskill was indicted in February on two felony counts of predatory sexual assault against a child after allegations surfaced that he'd abused two young girls in his care.
