River Forest Park District Receives Top Award for Loss Prevention

The River Forest Park District has achieved the Park
District Risk Management Agency’s (PDRMA) highest loss control award for the
Park District’s loss control efforts.  The Level A, Accreditation Award is
given to Park District’s who receive a score of 95% or higher on their
tri-annual review process.  PDRMA is an insurance pool of 151 Park and
Conservation Districts throughout the State of Illinois.

“This award reflects the efforts our staff has made to make
our park, facilities, and programs as safe as possible”, stated Tom Cargie,
River Forest Park District Board President. “In 2013 we received the GFOA Award
in Excellence in Financial Reporting and now PDRMA Accreditation.  The
Board is proud of our staff efforts to position the River Forest Park District
as a leader in the park and recreation field.”
