Scheck & Siress announces transition in leadership.

Scheck & Siress Prosthetics, Inc., has announced that James Kaiser, CP, CEO of Scheck & Siress since 1983, has transferred his interest in Scheck & Siress to the remaining nine shareholders, effective August, 2013.

Kaiser, also a past president of AOPA, started his career at Scheck & Siress as a prosthetic technician in 1974, and became a Certified Prosthetist in 1977.  When Kaiser first joined the Scheck team, a staff of 17 employees worked in one office location.  Today, there are over 160 employees and  11 locations in the Chicago and Northwest Indiana area. Kaiser attributes the growth and success of Scheck & Siress to “the dedicated staff of caregivers and partners committed to quality patient care.”

Kaiser will serve as consultant to the Board of Directors and continue providing patient care as a Prosthetist in Scheck & Siress’s Hickory Hills location and working with the amputee clinic at Marianjoy Hospital . In addition to his role at Scheck & Siress, Kaiser continues to be active in the Chicago area community, lecturing to the physical medicine and rehabilitation residents at Loyola and Rush University Medical Centers as well as Marianjoy Hospital.
