D97 Considers Sharing HR Duties With OPRF

Following the resignation of the D97 assistant superintendent for human resources, Oak Park Elementary School District 97 considers sharing HR responsibilities with OPRF, the Wednesday Journal reports.

Oak Park Elementary School District 97 Superintendent Albert Roberts is considering the idea of working with Oak Park River Forest High School District 200 to share HR responsibilities, the Wednesday Journal reported Tuesday.

The two districts have the vacancy of an HR administrator in common after Joanne Schochat resigned this week from her post as District 97's assistant superintendent for human resources.

OPRF currently has an interim HR director, and will conduct a search for a permanent employee next spring, according to the Journal

Roberts told the Journal he has had preliminary talks with District 200 Superintendent Steven Isoye, and plans to "formally approach" the district about the idea.
