Dominican University hosts lecture with Timothy Radcliffe, OP

Dominican University's Siena Center will present the annual Caritas et Veritas lecture with Timothy Radcliffe, OP, former Master of the Dominican Order, on Thursday, September 30 at 6:00 p.m. The lecture will be held in the Lund Auditorium, 7900 W. Division Street, River Forest. 

In this lecture, which will close Dominican University's Caritas et Veritas Symposium, Radcliffe will address the relationship of love and truth, and their meaning for the 21st century. From 1992 to 2001, Radcliffe was the master of the Order of Preachers, directing the entire Dominican Order throughout the world. He currently lives at Blackfriars Hall in Oxford, UK and is a well-known author of several books on spirituality, including What is the Point of Being a Christian? (2005) and Why Go To Church? The Drama of the Eucharist (2008).  He lectures internationally on topics such as contemporary society, Christian life, religious life and current issues in the Catholic Church. Radcliffe is patron of the International Young Leaders Network and helped to launch the Las Casas Institute on ethics, governance and social justice. He is the recipient of the Michael Ramsey Prize for theological writing in 2007.
