Dominican University’s Brennan School of Business to host panel on national debt

Is $14 trillion a lot of money? The answer to that question may seem obvious, but what are the global implications of the United States’ carrying that amount of national debt?

The U.S. Bank Center for Economic Education at Dominican University will host a panel discussion on “Of Federal Deficits and the National Debt: Solutions?” on Tuesday, October 4, at 6:30 p.m. to answer that question and more.

Brennan School of Business professors Peter Alonzi and Dan Condon will explore the causes and possible solutions to the debt crisis, and discuss whether people should be concerned about the issue. A question and answer session will follow the presentation.
