ELS 50th Anniversary Celebration at Dominican

Dominican University and ELS Language Centers will celebrate 50 years of ELS’s global leadership in international English language education with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, December 9 at Dominican’s Priory Campus East Dining Room, 7200 Division Street, River Forest.

ELS, a company of Berlitz Languages Inc., is the world’s leading provider of English language instruction for international students. It operates more than 50 centers at college campuses across the country.

The ELS Center at Dominican University was established 20 years ago, and since that time has  prepared thousands of international students for higher studies in the U.S. and adding invaluable diversity to the university community.

The partnership brings together ELS staff with university faculty to work on classroom conversation programs, student clubs and organizations with International Week activities and offices across campus to help diversify the campus and encourage international educational opportunities.
