Film Screening: " Alice's Ordinary People"

Join the Oak Park Public Library and League of Women Voters in celebrating National Voter Registration Day. See the documentary film, "Alice's Ordinary People." This is a story of ordinary citizens including Alice Tregay of Evanston who effected extraordinary changes for human rights. Alice and her husband marched with Dr. Martin Luther King in Chicago in 1966. Meet Alice Tregay and Evanston filmmaker Craig Dudnick. Deputy registrars will be available to register qualified people to vote at 6:30 p.m.
