Literacy Volunteers Host Tutor Training Workshop

Literacy Volunteers Western Cook County will host its next Volunteer Tutor Training Workshop from 6 to 9 p.m. November 9 and 11 and from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. November 13 at the Berwyn Public Library on 2701 S. Harlem Avenue, Berwyn.

Literacy Volunteers is a not-for- profit agency that trains volunteer tutors and matches them with an adult in need of literacy services.  No teaching or second language experience is required. Our comprehensive training will allow you to work with an English as a Second Language, Basic Reading or GED adult learner.
