Loyola Physician to Address Troubling Yet Common Health Problems in Women

Kimberly Kenton, MD, has made it her life’s work to demystify the last taboo topics in women’s health. She treats pelvic floor disorders, which include incontinence and prolapse. Women with these health problems are often too embarrassed to talk about their condition or to seek help.

Dr. Kenton will address these issues as well as the latest options to manage them at an upcoming talk. Treatments for urinary incontinence and prolapse are evolving, allowing women to experience better outcomes, symptom improvement and an enhanced quality of life with shorter recoveries and fewer side effects.

Dr. Kenton is a physician in Loyola University Health System's Urogynecology Center. This was the first center of its kind in greater Chicago to offer a dedicated specialty practice for the diagnosis and treatment of women with pelvic floor disorders. LUHS offers the most advanced medical and surgical care available for women with these disorders.
