The teenage author of that list has been charged with disorderly conduct.

“After the conclusion of the investigation, this case is closed,” Oak Park Police Cmdr. LaDon Reynolds told TribLocal after the teen was arrested at his Oak Park home on Monday. Police and school officials are not releasing his name.

The arrest comes four months after the teen's list was circulated around the school and across the Web via Facebook. According to an account in the Oak Leaves, the document featured a narrative on each girl and a list featuring "a 10-point ranking of each girl’s facial appearance and five-point ratings on their various body parts, as well as a notation indicating whether their “stock” has gone up or down."

The girls were given derogatory nicknames including “New Queen,” “The Designated Drunk” and “The Amazing Bisexual.” Many references insult the girls by race, ethnicity and sexual orientation.

A women-hating rant in the school's cafeteria apparently followed, where the boy cried out "Women are the future, unless we stop them now" and then danced in celebration for a cheering teenage crowd.

In response to the controversy, staffers at the school created and distributed 800 T-shirts with the word "Respect" on the front and a quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on the back.

"There were great kids here who were appalled at this [list] and needed a signal from the adults to be able to speak out," school counselor Heidi Lynch told Wednesday Journal. "We thought that we could come up with a visual way to empower kids to say this is wrong; this is not who we are. We are a community that's about respect and tolerance."

Back in January, school officials mulled discipline action for the student, saying he was ordered not to return to the school for at least five days and was subject to expulsion. According to a May 11 story in the Oak Leaves, the boy was expelled in February.
