Get Scared before Halloween

Haunted house, a dance, bonfire - and s'mores- get season rolling.

It may be a little early to load up a Trick-or-Treat bag but it's never too early to get ready to be scared out of your wits.

Here's a good way to start.

Fables Studios, an interactive haunted house in River Grove, is sponsoring a special night for students and families of Oak Park and River Forest High School on Sunday, Oct. 14. This haunted house features oddities, a slide show, fortune tellers and not to be outdone - live marionettes. Tickets are $10 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the high school. There's a catch: you must present a special flyer to receive the benefit. To do so, go to the Community page on the OPRF website, scroll down to the Community Interest section get it and look for the link to the flyer and download it.
