4th Annual KG Classic

The KG Classic is a one day, 20 team, co-ed, 14-inch softball tournament. It was started in 2007 by Mike Carmody after Kathy Garrigan, 24, died in a boating accident on Harding Lake, near Fairbanks Alaska. All proceeds are donated to Opportunity Knocks. Opportunity Knocks operates as a 501c.3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities and resources for individuals with developmental disabilities so they may pursue their educational, occupational and social interests. The 4th Annual Kathy Garrigan Memorial Softball Tournament will take place on Saturday, September 25that the Softball Fields in Forest Park. Come join us as we celebrate the life of Kathy Garrigan and support Opportunity Knocks.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help and sponsors to partner with us in putting on this year's event. All teams, players and volunteers must register online before September 10th. In addition to the softball, The KG Classic features food, a kid's activity area, music and beer.
