The Red Devils, meanwhile, snapped a two-game losing streak and kept their playoff hopes alive with a 17-7 win over Hinsdale South

This week, HighSchoolCube reported that junior Thomas Ives is expected to start at quarterback Friday. He is the fifth different Red Devil to play the position this season. Starter Chase Hamilton was lost in Week 3 to an injured ankle.

Hinsdale Central needs a strong finish in their last two games of the season to ensure a third-straight playoff berth.

The Huskies visited the Red Devils twice in 2012, once in the regular season and once in the playoffs, and each time OPRF won narrowly.

In their regular-season game, the Red Devils blew a 21-point leadand gave up a game-winning two-point conversion in overtime to the Huskies, a team that was on the playoff bubble before that game.

Three weeks later, the Huskies came back again to beat the Red Devils, 28-24, in the first round of the playoffs.
