Football: OPRF to Host Dundee-Crown in Class 8A Playoff Opener

Oak Park and River Forest Huskies (8-1) to face Dundee-Crown in the first round of postseason play Friday night.

The Oak Park and River Forest High School football team beat Morton 41-6 Friday in Berwyn, ending their almost-perfect regular season with an 8-1 record.

The Huskies ended the first half of the game with a 28-0 lead, with two touchdowns by senior running back Jamal Baggett, one by wide receiver Jeremy Moore and another by wide receiver Simmie Cobbs, according to the Wednesday Journal.

The No. 4 seeded Huskies will host Dundee-Crown, No. 13, in Oak Park at 7:30 p.m. Friday for the first round of the Class 8A playoffs.
