OPRF Boys Soccer Faces Proviso East in Regional Opener

No. 6 Huskies open post-season play against Proviso East in Darien at 6:30 p.m.

The Oak Park and River Forest High School boys soccer kicks off post-season play at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, facing Proviso East at Hinsdale Central High School in Darien. 

The Huskies (9-5-5), seeded No. 6 in the Class 3A playoffs, are the favorite going into the tournament against Proviso, seeded at No. 11.

OPRF ended their season with last Thursday, with a tie against Nazareth Academy. 

The winner of the 6:30 match on Oct. 22 will play the winner of the 4:30 match between No. 7 Hinsdale South and No. 3 Benet Academy on Friday, Oct. 25.
