Dine Out At Any Chicagoland Qdoba Mexican Grill Sept. 16-30 to Help End Childhood Hunger

Qdoba will reward guests who donate during Dine Out For No Kid Hungry, Sept. 16-30, at any of the 23 participating Chicagoland Qdoba restaurants with a coupon card – good for one free item.

Qdoba Mexican Grill, www.qdoba.com <http://www.qdoba.com>  ®, known for its wide variety of fresh and innovative Mexican cuisine, is joining thousands of restaurants nationwide this September to support Share Our Strength’s Dine Out For No Kid Hungry, www.DineOutForNoKidHungry.org <http://www.DineOutForNoKidHungry.org> , campaign. From Sept. 16 through Sept. 30, Qdoba guests who donate $1 or more at any of the participating 23 Chicagoland Qdoba restaurants including River Forest, Oak Lawn, Hillside, Elmhurst, Downers Grove, Orland Park, Woodridge, Glen Ellyn, Schaumburg, Wheaton, Oakbrook Terrace, will receive a scratch-off coupon card – good for one Qdoba treat ranging from a free drink to free entrée – to use during their next Qdoba visit. All collected donations will go directly to Dine Out For No Kid Hungry.

More than 16 million American children face hunger. Now in its fifth year, Dine Out For No Kid Hungry has raised more than $4 million for the No Kid Hungry campaign, which connects kids in need with nutritious food and teaches their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals.
“Childhood hunger is an issue that affects more U.S. families and children than most people realize,” said Gary Beisler, CEO of Qdoba Mexican Grill. “In fact, one out of every five kids in America struggles with hunger. We’re passionate about raising awareness and support for such a crucial issue and we know our guests share that passion too.”
Additionally, Qdoba will be hosting a preview party at its newest restaurant location in Oakbrook Terrace (17W639 Roosevelt Rd.) on Saturday, Sept. 22 benefitting Dine Out For No Kid Hungry. Guests can get a sneak peak of the new Qdoba location (opening Sept. 24) and for a recommended $5 donation receive an entrée and regular soft drink with all donations collected going directly to Dine Out For No Kid Hungry.  Hours for the event are 11 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
“Without partners like Qdoba, it would be challenging for us to achieve our goal of eliminating childhood hunger in America,” said Billy Shore, Founder and CEO of Share Our Strength. “I encourage everyone in the Chicago area to visit their local Qdoba restaurant between Sept. 16 and Sept. 30 and join us in our effort to end childhood hunger.”

Donations can be made in cash or added to a guest’s total bill at all participating restaurant locations in the Chicago area. To find the nearest Qdoba location, visit www.qdoba.com <http://www.qdoba.com> .
