Hello, My Furry Valentine

Pet owners send photographic love letters to the Animal Care League.

Behold cute pets. 

And these furry friends are more than just pretty faces. They're the winners of a promotional fundraiser that paired with the . The agencies invited residents to submit a Valentine's Day card and a donation to the Animal Care League. 

The proceeds will help replace a dryer damaged in a , 1011 Garfield St., and expand the facility's fire alarm system.

Organizers said the “Be My Furry Valentine" contest was "designed to help people celebrate their own beloved pets, as well as remember those pets waiting to be loved by a family."

Above are the four winners, but you can see all of the submissions at the ACL's official website. The photos will be displayed at the 1011 Garfield St. location until March 14.
