"There's an incredible community benefit," said Kathy Kern, executive director of Parenthesis. "You can buy a season's worth of clothes for a few dollars."

Organizers say they will also sell non-seasonal clothing, maternity clothes and bedding.

While baby and toddler items such as highchairs, swings and rocking chairs will be available, organizers said they'll no longer be selling cribs and car seats.

The event kicks off with a VIP sale on Oct. 1 at 405 S. Euclid Ave.

Tickets to the pre-sale cost $20 and can be purchased by calling Parenthesis at 708-848-2227

The public consignment sale takes place the following morning, Oct. 2, at the church.

The regular sale run from 9-11 a.m. that Saturday. The half-price sale takes place from 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m. Admission to both sales is free.

Money raised at the sale benefits the group's Morning Family Program
