Long Standing Family Restaurant Expands Party Room & Adds Gaming Lounge in Berwyn

The Sotiropoulos family recently opened their newly expanded event and party room and introduced a new gaming lounge at Connie’s Family Restaurant & Cocktails (http://www.conniesberwyn.com/) located at 3271 S Harlem Avenue in Berwyn. The new event and party room holds up to ninety guests and the lounge includes 5 video gaming machines. The business celebrated with a ribbon cutting in partnership with the City of Berwyn and the Berwyn Development Corporation (BDC) on November 20.

Connie’s Family Restaurant & Cocktails has been operating in their Depot District location since 1944. For many, the location is filled with nostalgia of past family breakfasts and outings with friends. Connie’s has stayed relevant for nearly seventy years because the Sotiropoulos family is driven by the simple guideline: “If it isn’t good enough to serve our family, we would never serve it to yours.” What’s more, the family takes great pride in their attention to detail and their openness to making change to better serve their customers.

The expansion of the event and party room accommodates larger gatherings such as family reunions, showers and funerals. What’s more, the space offers presentation equipment, making it an ideal location for business meetings. Andy Sotiropoulos stated, “For almost seventy years, we’ve stayed the same but we’re also different. We are your home away from home. Connie’s will always be Connie’s, but it’s important to us to meet the needs of the community by expanding our great dining options and services.”
