Wishbone Restaurant to "Pop-Up" in Berwyn's Depot District

Chef Joel Nickson is pleased to announce that Wishbone Restaurant will be returning to Berwyn in early December. The popular Chicago eatery will soon be taking over the restaurant space located next to Olive or Twist Martini Bar at 6908 W Windsor Ave as a “pop-up” style restaurant.

Chef Nickson feels it will be a fun way to revisit a community he is very fond of. “We really enjoyed being part of the Berwyn community and have always hoped for an opportunity to return. Olive or Twist is a great establishment and a Wishbone next door will make for a unique pairing. After 23 years in business I’m always looking for a way to keep things interesting. We plan to be open through March of 2014 and after that we’ll just have to see what happens.”

The menu will feature Wishbone favorites such as Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Shrimp & Grits, Blackened Catfish and North Carolina style Smoked Pulled Pork and Brisket as well as some new additions.
