Wishbone returns to downtown Berwyn

Restaurateur Joel Nickson opened Wishbone as a “pop-up” style restaurant on December 10 next to the Olive or Twist Martini Bar at 6908 W Windsor Avenue in Berwyn’s Depot District. The business celebrated with a ribbon cutting in partnership with the City of Berwyn and the Berwyn Development Corporation (BDC) on December 3.

Joel Nickson commented, “We’re starting with dinner and plan to move into brunch. We had a stint in Berwyn on Roosevelt Road next to FitzGerald’s but we wanted to come back to Berwyn. When this space became available, we kind of jumped up at the opportunity to get back into Berwyn.  It’s been great working with everyone.”

Mayor Robert J. Lovero continued, “This is an ideal spot for Wishbone. We believe you will be able to attract your supporters from the surrounding communities. It’s great to have you back because you left a hole in our stomachs and hearts when you moved. We wish you continued success.”
