Oak Park Art League
708-386-9853
Founded in 1921 by an enclave of artists, the Oak Park Art League has long been a home for those who support art — and those who create it.
Today, the nonprofit has expanded its role to include programs and classes that are open to artists of any age; many of the classes are taught by award-winning artists. A number of lectures, workshops, demonstrations and exhibits — including a collection of paintings dating back to OPAL's 1921 debut — are hosted at the OPAL's Chicago Avenue building, which can be rented out for gallery space.
