Owner Rick Manzella's shop features more than 5,000 comics and graphic novels.  In business since 1978 and at this present location since 1989, Manzella opened a second store in Chicago in January 2010.  He carries standards such as DC and Marvel, but also independent titles that might not be available at other stores. New comics are available Wednesdays at noon and are kept on hand for six months. He offers subscriptions for new comics that can be mailed to subscribers or picked up in the store. An avid collector since he was a child, Manzella also buys old, rare comics and can offer pricing advice to those looking to sell old collections--although he cautions against buying comics as an investment, saying it's all about entertainment and the enjoyment they bring to the reader.
