A roundup of some of the more bizarre items in area police blotters this week.
A narcotics investigation that began in River Forest led police to a Maywood apartment, where 280 grams of heroin, as well as smaller quantities of crack and ecstasy, were found.

The lawsuit, filed Tuesday, claims that Spiro Lempesis promised the player major league baseball connections in exchange for sex.
The 1-year-old boy's mother and her boyfriend have been charged with the murder of Bryeon Hunter, who was first reported missing in April. The body was found near the Brookfield Zoo.
There are warrants out for the arrest of a number of accused criminals in and around Forest Park and Oak Park. Patch highlights a few of them.
Oak Park police reported a hate crime that occurred last week when someone spray-painted the victim's driveway and car.
