A new shop with an eye towards vintage house wares has recently opened on Chicago Avenue in Oak Park. Bee Home and Garden, located at 128 Chicago Ave., will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. The new boutique is the first for longtime Oak Park resident Colleen Maia and offers a little bit of everything, Forest Leaves reported. Calling her ware a collection of things she finds pretty, Maia said the store offers vintage china, furniture, jewelry and more. The inventory is still growing as Maia heads out to local estate sales looking for new goods to stock the shop.
