'Bully' Coming Soon to Oak Park?

Controversial new documentary is unrated. Should it be screened in Oak Park?

Bully, a new documentary following the struggles of American students who've been mistreated by classmates, is generating all sorts of buzz across the country. Filled with gripping, first-hand accounts, Bully tails five students and their families as they wrestle with the everyday realities, and tragic aftermath, of school bullying. The Motion Picture Association of America originally slapped the film with an R Rating for its raw violence and occasional foul langauge. The rating means those under 17 — presumably a big chunk of the film's target audience — won't be admitted without a parent or guardian. After losing an appeal to have the MPAA lower its rating to PG-13, the film's distributors, The Weinstein Company, yanked the rating …
