Parenthesis Family Center to hold seasonal consignment and toy sales.

The season changes and the kids need new clothes. On Saturday, as it has for more than 20 years, Parenthesis' consignment sale will give local families an inexpensive solution. Fall and winter clothing sizes newborn to 16, along with baby/toddler equipment, bedding, maternity clothing, costumes, shoes and boots will be for sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 2,  at Parenthesis, 405 S. Euclid Ave. The sale takes place in the basement of the Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church. For a $20 donation, early birds can attend a VIP sale Friday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Everything will be half price from 11:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Parenthesis to Throw Seasonal Consignment Sale

The family-focused group set to raise funds through massive sale.

Calling all bargain hunters. The Parenthesis Family Center has announced the details of its seasonal consignment sale and fund-raiser. For sale will be gently-used fall and winter clothes, with sizes to fit newborns through fashion-conscious 16-year-olds. "There's an incredible community benefit," said Kathy Kern, executive director of Parenthesis. "You can buy a season's worth of clothes for a few dollars." Organizers say they will also sell non-seasonal clothing, maternity clothes and bedding. While baby and toddler items such as highchairs, swings and rocking chairs will be available, organizers said they'll no longer be selling cribs and car seats.
