River Forest Police Blotter: Animals Astray, Death Threats Received

Pot busts and DUI charges also reported.

The following items are taken from River Forest Police Department daily summary reports. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt. The arrested person is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. DUI Charge: Daniel Funchess, 50, of 2940 22nd Place in North Chicago, was charged with drunken driving in the 1100 block of Lake Street on Sunday, March 6, police said. DUI Charge: Robert D. Fowler, 44, of 1041 N. Clinton Ave. in Oak Park, was charged with drunken driving after he struck a pedestrian with his vehicle near the intersection of Lathrop Avenue and Madison Street on Saturday, March 5, police said.
