The beer was flowing last weekend at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago, where the inaugural Windy City Brewhaha festival featured breweries from throughout the city. Craft beer brewing is a growing industry, and the growth in Chicago has rivaled any other spot in the country. In the last year, countless breweries have popped up in the Chicago area, such as Pipeworks, Revolution and Begyle. "I think it's a great idea to get more exposure," said Chris Parker of the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild. "It's a huge, growing industry." If you're a fan of microbrew get ready for the sampling of all samplings. The Tale of Two Parks, an inaugural Micro Beer pub crawl, will be staged at a number of bars and restaurants in Oak Park and Forest Park from 7 to midnight, Thursday, Feb. 21. Healy's Westside, Old School Tavern, Kinderhook Tap, Amelia's, Poor Phil's Bar and Grill, Marion Street Cheese Market, Lake Kitchen + Bar, Fat Duck Tavern & Grill and Piggy Back Tavern will be stops along the way.
