Police: Man Forged Documents to Avoid Parking Tickets

Fraud charges leveled after document debacle.

Denoris Brown, 42, of Oak Park, will appear for a preliminary hearing in Maybrook Court June 3 on charges that he forged documents to avoid paying $3,500 in Oak Park parking tickets, police said. According to police, Brown filed documents with the parking division attesting to his situation and village employees, in attempting to verify the documents, found instead they were fraudulent. He came in to speak with police about the situation May 23 and was charged.
